The Emotion for Change project took shape in 2015, with the aim of using music to raise awareness about climate change and make listeners feel like they are an active part of the solution.
Numerous Italian and foreign musicians are participating in the project, as well as performers, videomakers and photographers.
Some of them in particular have formed the EFC (Emotion For Change) collective, with which they have produced music albums and performances combining art, science, culture and social issues.
Since 2023, with the aim of freeing art and science from primarily commercial logic, the entrepreneurs in our group, with their companies, have begun to participate in and support this project with their ideas, organisational skills, network of contacts and ability to identify and activate resources consistent with the spirit that drives us, in order to obtain financial support for our projects.
The artists share their project proposals with the scientists and entrepreneurs in order to collaborate synergistically along the same lines of thought, contributing to the expansion of the network of participants and the search for funds for the realisation of shared works.
Scientists collaborate with artists and entrepreneurs in the realisation of artistic projects, enriching them with their knowledge and thus adding authority to the expression of the emotions evoked by art.
The change we promote ‘outside’ is something we want first and foremost ‘inside’, as a group and as individuals. To this end, we believe that self-education is fundamental, leading to social practices based on listening and respect for each other’s differences of opinion, which should be valued as enriching for the group and as opportunities for new learning.
