Bibliosons – Music and Culture at the IIC Library in Dakar

BiblioSons is a new audiovisual format from the Italian Cultural Institute in Dakar, featuring a series of intimate and exclusive musical encounters designed to showcase the library space at the new headquarters. Each encounter offers an original sound experience, spanning different musical genres and traditions, creating a bridge between the cultures and artistic sensibilities of the two countries.

In this context, Emotion for Change, with Senegalese musicians Fallou Seck (jambe) and Youssoupha Cissokho (kora), and violinist Sara Michieletto, will present the concert “Ipermare”, which will also be recorded and broadcast through the channels of the Italian Cultural Institute in Dakar with the aim of promoting cultural dialogue between Italy and Senegal.
